TSM over NRG to Minor playoffs
TSM will be moving on to MLG Americas Minor's playoffs to face OpTic following a victory over NRG in Group A's decider (2-1; Cache 16-13, Overpass 10-16, Train 16-10).
In the decider of Group A NRG played TSM, with Cache chosen as the first map by the former team. However, it was the latter who went on to take the pistol and all but one gunround before the score was 10-1.
Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen was doing very well on the first map up to that point, but from there on until the end of the half it was Samuel "SileNt" Portillo who helped his team take four rounds in a row with eight kills.
That seemed to have swung the momentum towards NRG, who also got the second pistol round and lowered the deficit to just two rounds. Over the following seven rounds, it went back and forth, which pressured TSM on multiple ecos as Fatih "gob b" Dayik's team took their first lead at 13-12. However, the streak stopped there as Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken got two important kills in each of the rounds, helping his team take map one at 16-13.
Timothy "autimatic" Ta kicked off Overpass with a quad-kill and a smart 1v2 in the second round, giving TSM a quick 3-0 lead. Doubles from the ex-mousesports duo gave NRG the first gunround, but they were broke right after losing the following round at the hands of Twistzz.

Multiple players from NRG then showcased individual abilities, especially Justin "just9n" Ortiz, pushing to their first lead and even extending it to 8-5, before the last two rounds were split evenly. With the pistol going their way as well, NRG were looking to close out map two quickly, which they did once each team won four rounds for a 16-10 scoreline to take it to the decider, Train.
That took a dramatic turn right from the start, as SileNt defused the bomb with less than 0.1 seconds left on the timer, only for TSM to take it back with a forcebuy consisting of a few AK-47's.
Peter "ptr" Gurney's triple made it even at 3-3, and right after both teams got three-round streaks for 6-6, TSM took over and switched to CT's at 8-7, shortly after ptr and Nikola "LEGIJA" Ninić won a 2v5.
Once TSM picked up the pistol round, as well as the first two gunrounds, they were only a round away from match point. They didn't take much time closing it out as the following few rounds went back and forth, and TSM earned their place in the playoffs at 16-10, 2-1.
